Sunekos works by injecting Hyaluronic and Amino Acid under the skin. This promotes restoration of the Extra Cellular Metrix homeostasis, supporting regeneration and counteracts oxidative stress.
The treatment promotes Collagen and Elastin production which naturally slows down with age. Sunekos has been shown to particularly promote Collagen Type IV and VII which are the specific forms needed to treat ageing.
Injecting Sunekos directly under the skin gives some immediate effects but the full effect takes 2-4 weeks to see. It can be used to the face, neck or on the body.
At Aesthetics by Dr Katherine, York we will formulate an individual treatment plan so your areas of concern are treated directly.
Three treatments are recommended, each 2 weeks apart. Maintenance treatment is then advised every six months. This can be given alongside other treatments, such as anti-wrinkle treatment, but also works exceptionally when given alone.

A. Sunekos is a skin booster containing Hyaluronic Acid and a patented preparation of Amino Acids. It is injected directly under the skin to reduce signs of ageing and sun damage.
A. Sunekos contains a specific formulation of Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acids to promote restoration of the Extra Cellular Matrix homeostasis to support regeneration and also counteracts oxidative stress. Sunekos also promotes production of Collagen and Elastin which naturally slows in the ageing process.
When treated with Sunekos the skin is restored, tightened and firmed. This helps with signs of ageing such as sagging and fine lines, but can also help with sun damage such as pigmentation and dark circles under the eyes.
A. As always at Aesthetics by Dr Katherine, York on arrival we will discuss your treatment goals and desired outcomes to formulate an individual treatment plan. You will need to complete medical and consent forms, if not already done. Please note Sunekos is effective, but is limited, and so may not be suitable for all patients.
Once the forms are completed and we have a treatment plan in place photos will be taken. These are mandatory photos taken pre-treatment and will be stored confidentially with your medical records.
After cleaning your face the treatment will commence.
